Our name is long - Catholic Cemetery Association of Peoria - and it represents the heritage of a long and rich tradition in serving the Peoria community. St. Joseph's and St. Mary's, both in West Peoria, began in the middle and late 1800s reaching out to hundreds of immigrants in Catholic churches in the area. As the population grew, so did the CCA. Resurrection Cemetery and Mausoleum on North Allen Road in Peoria were developed later in the 1960s and '70's.
Through the years, we have expanded our services along with cemetery locations to meet not only the needs of our Catholic communities but also those of other faiths. Today we have three well-groomed cemeteries, a Chapel for services, and a mausoleum that has been referred to as "one of the most beautiful mausoleums in downstate Illinois."
We continue to offer traditional services as well as a newer, wider variety of internment options whether it is entombment or inurnment.
We strongly believe that in choosing a Christian burial site, it is an opportunity for families to pass on their Christian faith and beliefs to future generations. In honoring our mission and our Christian beliefs, we are committed to offering sincere and compassionate recommendations for burial planning with respect and service to the family and careful maintenance of the burial site. We are committed to treating the burial of your loved ones as a Christian work of mercy. We are here for you and your family.
